YOU WON'T WANT TO MISS...

The Hull Senior Center is holding a Member and Volunteer Appreciation Month in May. All of our exercise classes will be free to those 60 years and older for the whole month of May! If you have been interested in trying a class, now’s the time! Call the Center for more information, 781-925-1239.

 

Beginning Monday, May 6th, 3:30pm

Clutter Reduction and Accountability Group

Facilitated by Suzanne Otte of the south Shore Clutter Reduction Collaborative, this 12 session, bi-weekly private group will utilize the book “Buried in Treasures” to build participant’s knowledge about how to tackle the problem of compulsive acquiring and saving. Beginning Tuesday, May 7th, 10:30am

Four Week Water Based Painting Class

Join fine artist and instructor Marianne Buckley-Curran as she provides classes on acrylic and watercolor. Bring your own paints, paper or canvas. Have a reference photo to work from or choose one from the instructor. Cost $45/person. Call the Senior Center to register on May 1st, 781-925-1239.

 

Tuesday, May 7th, 1pm

Around the World in 24 Days

Joing Hull resident Mark Kohn as he and his wife Patricia describe their 24 day around the world trip with National Geographic Expeditions that spanned from Peru to Jordan, Tanzania and beyond. Come hear about this fabulous experience and see beautiful images of some of the most culturally rich places on Earth! Call the Senior Center to register, 781-925-1239.

 

Beginning Thursday, May 9th

Colonies of Massachusetts 1610 to 1700

This six week series, presented by Bob Jackman, will examine the various iterations of Massachusetts colonies, their structures of government and societies, and relations with Great Britain and foreign powers. This class is limited to 22 participants and is $25/person. Call the Senior Center for more details, 781-925-1239.
