Ultra-Processed Foods and Their Link to Dementia

What are examples of ultra-processed foods and how do they adversely affect the body and mind? Anne Mcdonald, Registered Dietician for South Shore Elder Services, will discuss the latest research and will inform you of the changes you can make to decrease your risk. Café Talk Breakfast

Let’s talk honey! Local bee keeper and Hull resident, Gail Franzen, will share her knowledge of these pollinators and their delicious product over a light breakfast. You may even get to taste different honeys from around the world! So we can plan for food, you must register for this event. Call the Senior Center at 781-925-1239.

 

Tuesday, April 9th, 1pm

In the Moment Café

Caregivers and loved ones can enjoy an hour of music, movement and engagement in a light and fun atmosphere with dance and music therapists from the South Shore Conservatory. This event is grant funded through SSES. Call the Hull Senior Center for more information, 781-925-1239.

 

Beginning Monday, April 22nd, 3:30pm

Clutter Reduction and Accountability Group

Facilitated by Suzanne Otte of the south Shore Clutter Reduction Collaborative, this 12 session, bi-weekly private group will utilize the book “Buried in Treasures” to build participant’s knowledge about how to tackle the problem of compulsive acquiring and saving.
