St. Vincent de Paul

St. Vincent de Paul helps a number of Hull residents by providing direct financial support. They offer critical assistance for clothing, food, medicine, housing, and utilities; they also provide emotional and spiritual support to those who feel they have nowhere to turn. If you or someone you know is in need, please call 508-510-7765.

Wellspring

In addition to their self-select food pantry and thrift store, Wellspring offers a variety of services, including legal advocacy and financial assistance. For more information, call Pat Martin, LCSW, at 781-925-3211 x112.

Circuit Breaker Tax Credit

The Circuit Breaker tax credit is available to seniors over 65 and is based on the actual real estate taxes or rent paid on the Massachusetts residential property you own or rent and occupy as your principal residence. The maximum credit amount for tax year 2023 is $2,590. If the credit you're owed exceeds the amount of the total tax payable for the year, you'll be refunded the additional amount of the credit without interest. Check out the MassTaxConnect website or with your tax preparer.
