FEMA Technical Bulletins

FEMA produced and continues to update numerous Technical Bulletins which are a vital resource provided to the public, state and local officials, and a variety of businesses. These bulletins provide guidance on complying with the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) building performance requirements. 

FEMA updated Bulletin 1 and Bulletin 5 in March of 2020.
