Harbormaster Department-Update on Float Installation and Pumpout Boat

UPDATE ON FLOAT INSTALLATION AND PUMPOUT BOAT

Please be advised that since Governor Baker is lifting the covid restrictions as of May 29, 2021 , the installation of the A Street Float and James Ave float is scheduled for the end of next week , hoping for good weather and getting on the schedule with the contractor to hoist the gangways into place. His vessel is currently down with engine problems ,but they are hopeful to have it up and running by the end of the week, Will update .

The Pump out boat operations will resume June 1st through October 15th 2021 .We will be pumping out 2 times a week most likely Tuesdays and Thursdays, weather permitting . I will be notifying the marinas, the Hull Yacht Club and the Nantasket Beach Saltwater Club that we will be back in operation that week . Pump out requests will be done the same way as years past by displaying a  orange pump out flag on their vessel or through an email to the Harbormaster's Office . Orange pump out flags are available at the marina offices and at both clubs at no cost .
