READING
We are following the Literacy Place reading program along with guided reading books and small groups.
Math
The family homelinks letter will be sent home prior to each unit to inform you of the concepts that will be taught. Make sure your child practices basic addition and subraction facts nightly. Your child will have math homework every night.
Be sure to read their homework book each night. We all get our homework together at the same time. The children copy the assignment, I give any extra directions, and then everything is packed up. In case your child forgets his/her homework, you may come back up to the school or have your son or daughter call a friend.
