That's what we do all day in Grade Two.
Poetry, narratives, friendly letters and retelling
Dictionary skills, capitalization, punctuation and spelling
Knowing our math facts-to subtract and to add
Practice them at home-with Mom or with Dad!
We learn about patterns, we'll learn to tell time,
We'll learn the value of the dollar, the quarter, penny, nickel and dime.
The calendar, the seasons, the months of the year-
If it's skip counting, or odd/even numbers, we'll make it all clear.
We talk about weather, we observe insects and mealworms.
We study liquids and solids, maps and landforms.
Creatively thinking, problem solving, and working together
Are skills we instill to last forever.
