Answer your child's questions about school in a reassuring manner.
Read to your child daily. Begin a personal collection of books.
Turn any activity into a learning experience. Do chores together.
Encourage your child to eat well, get sufficient sleep, and dress independently.
Notice the new things your child is learning to do and use reinforce with
praise.

Here is a list of essentials to begin the school year.
1. A roomy backpack---for ease with packing and unpacking large-sized papers.
2. A full change of clothes---to keep in class in the event of an accident.
3. An oversized T-shirt---to remain in class for messy art projects.
4. A plastic pencil box---to hold school tools distributed to class.
5. A large-sized glue stick
6. A 2-pocket folder---to organize school and home papers/notes.
7. A well-rested child---ready for a fun year of learning!
