Course Expectations
Students…
- will write effectively for a variety of purposes.
- will read actively and critically.
- will speak and present information fluently and comfortably before an audience.

- will demonstrate a knowledge of world cultures.
- will use technology appropriately to acquire, integrate, evaluate, create, and impart information in a knowledge economy.
- will compare the language and culture of Spanish-speaking countries to their own language and culture and make connections to other subject areas
Behavior Expectations
- Respect your classmates by listening while they are speaking, providing support when possible, and being kind.
- Respect your classroom by leaving the classroom how it was found (desk arrangements and returning any materials that were used) and keeping the classroom organized and clean. This includes respect of the equipment in the language lab.
- Respect your teacher by listening, raising your hand, participating appropriately, and demonstrating your positive skills as a student.
- Rude and disrespectful behavior, inappropriate language, bullying, and harassment will not be tolerated.
- Being unprepared for class, being tardy without a pass, disrupting class, and disrespect will result in disciplinary consequences
