Colleges are interested in what you do with your time outside of school. Whether it is in-school activities or out-of-school activities - get involved. The purpose isn't to fill up your resume with all sorts of activities, but rather it's an opportunity to be engaged, make a difference in your school, your community, and maybe learn something about yourself in the process.
