What is Wellness?
well·ness (wel-nis):  noun. 1. The condition of good physical and mental health, especially when maintained by proper diet, exercise, and habits; 2. The quality or state of being in good health especially as an actively sought goal; 3. The quality or state of being healthy, especially as the result of deliberate effort.

What is Hull High Wellness?
well·ness (wel-nis):  noun. 1. a three credit course; 2.a graduation requirement; 3. Approximately 45 PE classes, 20-25 Health classes, 20-25 Fitness classes in a one semester course.

Why is PE important?
"The goal of physical education is to
educate people to the point at which, when given the choice,
they'll voluntarily choose to be physically active."
-George Graham

Why is PE important at Hull High?
Team Sports, Lifetime Activites, Yoga, and PE/Fitness
are PE elective courses that are offered to students at Hull High
to take in addition to Wellness.
When a student chooses to take a PE elective
they have made a choice to be physically active that hopefully
will continue on long after graduation.
